About SBBM
SBBM is the largest locally owned, non-franchised commercial cleaning company in Santa Barbara County, providing the complete resources as well as the professional edge you expect and deserve in a commercial cleaning company.
SBBM is owned by Steve Gowdy, who has operated the company since moving to Santa Barbara over 15 years ago. Prior to SBBM, Steve operated a similar commercial cleaning service in San Diego for over 10 years.
Steve’s early career was in accounting and he assembled all the additional education and experience requirements to get certification as a CPA. He brings the same attention to detail and professionalism to the management and operation of a commercial cleaning company – a formula that has served SBBM’s customers very well.
Steve is active in youth sports as coach and involved parent, and also serves on the boards of several local charitable organizations.
SBBM’s director of operations is Jose Motolina, the driving force behind SBBM’s quality and reliability. For over 18 years, Jose worked as director of housekeeping for one of Santa Barbara’s premier hotel properties, the world famous El Encanto. He brings the same commitment to SBBM as he did to a 5 star hotel.
